## It's simple!
1. Go outside on **May 6 2017**. Bring some friends with you. Enjoy the sunshine.
1. Pick up trash. Throw it away.
1. (Optional) Take a photo of your trash and your crew and share it on social media with
[#greenupday](https://twitter.com/search?q=%23greenupday).
1. Encourage others to do the same.
If you're in Vermont, you can get official bags from [Green Up Vermont](http://www.greenupvermont.org/).
The rest of us are on our own for now.
